FORT MYERS, FL – Today, Harvey Software, Inc. introduced an additional
choice for those shipping packages with the US Postal Service. Harvey’s
Computerized Parcel System (CPS™), using technology from Endicia, now
provides an easy, efficient alternative to expensive postage meters and
postal manifesting. Address correction for all CPS supported carriers is
also part of this enhancement.
All CPS users can now use this efficient Endicia processing option, and
larger USPS® shippers still have the option of the USPS
manifest. CPS handles both domestic and international USPS packages and
even prints customs’ documents. CPS is the complete, small package
shipping system for both domestic and international USPS services.
CPS will now print shipping labels with the postage right on them for
USPS packages. The popular Stealth Indicia™ postage is supported, so
shippers can print shipping labels with postage amounts hidden. Since
the postage amount is not evident on the package, this prevents the
potential for customer service issues that may arise due to the
difference in the actual postage paid and the shipping and handling
charge collected by the shipper.
"We are proud that CPS is leading multiple carrier shipping technology
using Endicia to make USPS shipping incredibly easy,” said Steve
Stevenson, Harvey Software’s Director of Sales. "Post office services,
especially residential deliveries, offer shippers a substantial savings.
International USPS services are also getting a lot of attention right
now," Steve explained. "USPS services with Endicia technology are
included in every CPS software package," Steve continued. “A shipper
just signs up for their Endicia account, and easier USPS shipping is the
next step. And don’t forget this makes address correction available for
every package shipped by any CPS carrier,” Steve explained.
